After missing 3 months of mortgage payments, the bank forecloses and the property ends up on the Sheriff Sale list.  The prices shown on the Sheriff Sale list is the amount owed to the Bank only.  On the day of the sale the bank bids first, then anyone can outbid the bank.
Current Sheriff Sale lists are published in the newspaper and on this site.  No there are no signs placed on the property by the Sheriff's department.

The amount value is the amount of money owed to the bank on the property.  The bank will bid first on the property and that will set the initial price.
Once the listings are posted on the website and published in the newspaper there are no additions.  The deadline for a submission to be added to the list is governed by publishing requirements, please call the Sheriff's Civil Office for further information.
One must bid $1.00 over the bank amount unless there is competitive bidding (more than one person bidding on the property).  If more than one person is bidding in the property, then $100.00 dollar increments are used.
